1919 Type Foundry is an independent type foundry run by Scott Sullivan who is currently a Senior design student at Ohio University.

The typefaces here are the product of an ongoing study into the ideological foundations of the Modernist and Constructivist design movements. I am attempting to synthesize type that is a direct and objective reflection of the early ideals, with an overarching goal of comparing the typographic developments of the two respective movements.
